Every five years, young people from all over Europe meet at the European Adventist Youth Congress (AYC) – the largest gathering of Adventist young people in Europe – to celebrate their faith in Jesus Christ and His soon return, as well as make a positive impact in the city.
In 2017, this unique event will take place in the fantastic city of Valencia in Spain. It will be quite the celebration, with over 4000 young people expected.
The theme of the Adventist Youth Congress is “The Journey”. We will be reminded of what it means to be travelling to heaven together. Journeying together means knowing where we are going, taking care of one another and respecting nature and our surroundings as we “travel” through them. In other words, we will reflect together on what it is to be an Adventist Christian in this journey that we call life.
